Kocheriya Kochukoshy, the youngest son of Polachirackal Kocheriya Tharakan, married Kochithamma, the elder sister of Varghese Mappila from Karthalil Kandathil, Thiruvalla. The family settled at Polachirackal, Chittakkad, in Kuttur, the hometown of his wife. He was engaged in wholesale trade of tobacco along with his brothers. He died in 1912 at the age of 76.
Kocheriya Kochukoshy had six sons and two daughters.
The sons were:
1. Kochukoshy Kocheriya (Kochukunju) married Aleyamma from Attumalil Viyapuram
2. P. K Kocheapen Tharakan (Kocheappachan)married Sosamma from Puthenkavu Ezhikkath
3. Koshy Abraham (Kochavarachan), married Aleyamma from Edathua Kattumbagathu
4. P. K. Oommen (Kochummachan) married Sosamma from Vattasseril Mallappally
5. P.K. Ninan Vakill (Kunjanachan) married Achamma from Pulikkeezhu Thaikadavil
6. The youngest son, P. K. Varghese (Kochu Kivarchan) married Rahelamma from Mavelikara

The daughters were:
1. Saramma (Kochu Pennamma), married to Mathaichan, the brother of Titus II Thirumeni,
from Maramon Palakunnath
2. Achiamma( Kochachiamma) married to Chandykunju from Thiruvalla Venpala Elanjimootil

Played a very important role in Kudumbayogam and was the second president of Polachirackal kudumbayogam
Shri. P. M. Cherian Tharakan
Editor of Kudumbacarithram, headmaster of St. Mary’s school in Trivandrum for 16 years and was awarded best teachers national award by the president of India.
