Kocheriya Kochitti, the second son of Polachirackal Kocheriya Tharakan, married Achiyamma of Eraviperoor Sankaramangalam. The main occupation was tobacco wholesale and agriculture. He stayed at Cherianad Chungaplavu Nilkunnethil for trade and moved to Thumponthottathil for better convenience of trade. The couple had four sons and four daughters.

The eldest son Kochitti Kocheriya married Aleyamma of Ayrookuzhi family. His second son Kochitti Kochuvarki married Akkamma of Nakolakkal Kankalil. The third son, Kochitti Kunjuninan, married Akkamma from Karayorath Kottayam. His youngest son Kochitti Ummumman first married Achikunju of Thiruvalla Pulimoottil and upon her death married Annamma of Thottakkad, from Thalavadi Amichakari .

The eldest daughter of Kocheriya Kochitti, Saramma (Kochupennamma) got married to Varghese of Mollamannil, Karakkal. The second daughter, Chachiyamma to Kuriachen of Kanjirathil, Kottayam. The third daughter, Mariamma to Chandapilla of Pullipadavil, Thevery, Viyapuram. The youngest daughter, Aleyamma to Korula Ittyavirah of Kurichiyath Vattadiyil, Niranam.

Sons of Kocheriya Kochitti:

1. Kochitti Kocheriya settled at Thumponthottathil
2. Kochitti Kochuvarki at Puthenpurackal
3. Kochitti Kunjuninan at Madathilethu
4. Kochitti Ummumman at Chungaplavu Nilkunnethil

Kocheriya Kochitti died at the age of 72
